Milestones
The core platform is built
A typed API on Cloudflare Workers, dozens of Postgres migrations, and app routes wired end to end, from guide pages to the in-app contribution editor.
The repository is open, and people are shipping
Contribution guidelines, good-first-issue labels, and a real review workflow are live. Dozens of outside contributors already have merged pull requests.
The nonprofit is stood up
California articles of incorporation are filed, we have an EIN and an org bank account, and donations are open through Zeffy.
501(c)(3) federal recognition (pending)
The one piece still outstanding. We're incorporated and operating as a nonprofit, but the IRS tax-exempt determination hasn't come through yet.

The nonprofit track
Built to be a nonprofit from day one.
Bluelearn is incorporated as a California nonprofit, with an EIN, an org bank account, and donations open through Zeffy. Personal accounts were never how this was done. The one step outstanding is federal 501(c)(3) recognition.
