The road to launch, and well beyond it.
Bluelearn is pre-launch. We're building a working demo (frontend, backend, and seeded guides) before we open the platform to public contribution. This page is the honest picture of what's done, what's underway, and where we're headed. Directional, not a set of dated promises.
The near-term sequence
Ship a working demo
A frontend and backend with every field a contributor will be able to touch, seeded with real guides. This is the hard gate before anything goes public.
In progressOpen the repository
Publish the contribution guidelines and announce the monorepo to the community, paired with clear, beginner-friendly onboarding for first-time contributors.
NextOpen public contribution
Anyone can write guides in the in-app editor or send code as a pull request. The verifier and moderator systems go live alongside.
PlannedStand up the nonprofit (in parallel)
File California articles of incorporation, obtain an EIN, open an org bank account. Then, and only then, open donations.

The long view
Three phases, one mission.
The Core
The centralized platform: the prerequisite-graph model, the verifier and moderator systems, the open contribution workflow, and a curated set of launch subjects.
- One global prerequisite graph
- Community-written, community-verified guides
- In-app editor and pull-request paths
Universal Access
Knowledge in every major language, readable anywhere. AI-assisted translation kept honest by human review, plus offline reading for low-connectivity learners.
- Human-reviewed translation pipeline
- Offline-readable guides
- Every verified guide, every language
Decentralization
A federated protocol where institutions host their own nodes that plug into the one global graph, a hybrid of centralized stewardship and open federation.
- Self-hosted institutional nodes
- Shared federated graph
- Recoverable, downloadable knowledge base
The nonprofit track
Built to be a nonprofit from day one.
Bluelearn is incorporating directly as a California nonprofit. We will not accept a cent until the entity exists and can receipt donations properly. Personal accounts are not how this is done.
